LANSING (MarkHeidemanTV/WJRT) -- If you've ever aspired to hunt wolves in your home state of Michigan, that opportunity may become a reality very soon.
Michigan Senate approved the open wolf hunt on Thursday, just months after wolves were removed from the endangered species list.
According to WJRT, Wisconsin and Minnesota have already passed a law allowing the hunt.
The Michigan House of Representatives will look over the bill sometime next week.
If passed, Michigan hunters will be allowed to hunt wolves throughout the state.
