(MarkHeidemanTV) -- During Wednesday evening's Presidential Debate in Denver, President Obama and
Republican Presidential Candidate Romney spoke of their plans for the future of education in our nation.
Obama supported his plan of hiring more teachers by saying "Let's hire 100,000 math and science teachers.." "..Romney doesn't think we need more teachers. I do."
Although Romney did not directly respond to those comments, he spoke
of his plan to create fair opportunities for all to attend the university of
their choice. "I want the kids who are getting federal dollars...I want them to
go to the school of their choice."
Obama questioned this plan by stating that Romney's plan will cut
education funding by 20%. Romney responded to this by saying "I don't
have any plans to cut education funding." "..I care about education for all
kids."
