One man dead and another injured after their car hit a house in Detroit near Lahser and Outer Drive Saturday evening. The car slammed directly into the house, and hit the gas meter sparking a fire.
Several bystanders helped the passenger out of the burning car, but were unable to save the driver.

Police are still investigating what triggered the crash. WXYZ reports that alcohol might have been a factor, but that has not been confirmed.
