After a warm and mild winter thus far, Mid-Michigan is expecting to recieve it's largest snowstorm of the season this evening. Forecasters are predicting 5-7 inches for southern Mid-Michigan, and 1-4 inches for the northern portion of our viewing area.
Local road plows are preparing to hit the streets for a long night of plowing and salting. Although the local plows have a game plan, they told WEYI that it could take up to 36 hours to clear the snow, which could result in several school and facility closings.
